Exploring Africa
I have an idea that I think would be awesome for travellers, backpackers and the adventure seeker.
I have heard of a lot of people from all over the world who wants to visit Africa. I have also spoken to many travellers here in South Africa who absolutely loves it and some even move here.
I believe that South Africa is probably one of the top 5 most beautiful countries in the world! We have the most breathktaking sunrises and sunsets that you can imagine! Wildlife makes us a very admirable traveling destination and a lot of people pay lots of money to see a small part of what South Africa has to offer. The secret though, is to have someone advise you who is not after your money and really know all the places there is to see. Only then will you really experience Africa the right way and it will not cost you an arm and a leg.
My idea is that I love to travel througout South Africa and Africa aswell. I you would like me to assist you in Africa and to show you around, you can contact me by posting a comment and we can discuss what you have in mind.
I love South Africa and love showing people our great country.
So if you want to experience a coutry like no other, maybe help on a poverty project in Africa, surf in J-bay, bungee jump the highest bungee in the world in the morning and in the evening maybe play with a lion cub….
Post a comment and we’ll take it from there.

Upcoming Mozambique Tour
Upcoming Mozambique
I am so excited that I need to tell everyone I see…
We have planned a trip for this December to Farrol de Barra in Mozambique. The climate and landscape is exactly like a tropical island with white sandy beaches and palm trees with coconuts as far as the eye can see.
We are so lucky and blessed here in South Africa to have such an awesome setting right at our doorstep.
I will take lots of photos and tell the story from the day we get going right up till the end when we leave.

Succesful Blogging
Succesful Blogging
As you all can probably see, I am very new to blogging. I have a few blogs but nothing huge. I always see ads stating that they can teach you how to blog, how to make money from blogging and how to be a succesful blogger.....blah blah blah
But what is a succesful blog? What does a succesful blog consist of and what are the measurements of a blog being succesful?
What makes your blog succesful and how do you measure your blog's success factor?
I am very interested in earing other people's views on this so please feel free to comment.

Gold by Wilbur Smith
Gold
I have always heard that Wilbur Smith is this awesome writer and when I started reading I always said that I want to read one of his books.
Well the one day I got ohold of one of his books called “Gold”. I is about the era in South Africa when gold mining was the controller of South Africa. When South Africa was set on the map due to it’s richness in minerals.
I started reading the book and was very anxious to get to the part which is described on the back of the book as Action packed with murder, lust and myhem. Through the fisrt couple of pages I started getting annoyd with all the technical details of all the mines and felt like I was reading some kind ogf mining weekly magazine.
Throughout the book the climax built up and then more and more technical crap. One scene for instance was starting to get very interesting…and wham! The focus just changed with no action whatsoever. And the book does not mention the unfinished scene at all.
At the end of the book all the action happens. In a matter of 5 – 10 pages, in a 200 – 230 page book.
Well, I would not read one of his books again! That’s for sure.

Life’s moments
Life’s moments
What is life’s greatest moments? How do you define a great moment? What are the important things in your life?
My life started to get intersting in high school when I decided that I am not going to be someone with an average life. Someone with an extroadinary life of purpose, wealth and happiness.
When I reached the age of 23 with a lot of hard work, I started earning a huge salary as a sales consultant for a software company. I thought that it was my big break and the happiness I was seeking was here! I was finally going to get what I have always wanted.
I never liked sales but I was extremely good at it and I still am today. The fact is that I was always looking for the money to take away the hate for sales that I developed over the years. But it just would not go away. I would wake up in the morning with this huge fear and disgust and tell myself that it’s okay. This feeling will soon vanish. As soon as I had the big bucks but it just never did. So I quit! I sold everything and started over…
I am now a web developer for a small but rapid growing web solutions company n South Africa and I absolutely love it. I am still a junior developer and have a lot to learn but I would honestly not swap my job for any other in the world. I found the one part of happiness I have always wanted. The happiness I always looked for in money. And money was just not powerful enough to give it to me.
Now I am not sayng that money can not be your drive or your main motivation because for a lot of people it works. What I am saying that it is crutial to do something you love. And hen ou enjoy what you are doing the money will follow. You will be a lot happier and the money earned will be well spent.
The other part of my happiness that I always wanted but could not find was through God. He is love and if you have God and accepted Jesus Christ as your saviour you are well on your way to achieving something that not all the money in the world can buy you.
One person for example God sent on my path is my girlfriend who is absolutely amazing and whom I love with all my heart.
So, if you do what you love you will obviously do it to the best of your abilities and therefore the outcome will be outstaning. Therefore your work will be rewarded more than you can ever imagine. And always remember to do it God’s way!

Sell that cupcake honey…
Sell that cupcake honey…
Today I heard something which got me thinking quite a lot.
Someone I know tried something. She let the small business guru inside her take the lead and it worked. She was super succesful with her first attempt. Her first step towards getting out of the rat race and she did not fall flat on her face.
What an awesome success story.
Still with a little fear but aboslute excitement of success overwhelming everything, she had to tell someone. She had to share this beautiful confession. Only to realise that some people do not share the happiness. Some do not think the same and just do not want to believe.
Without a doubt this is probably the highest form of demotivation if someone you share your success story with shoots it down like a clay pigeon and shatteringit to pieces. You obviously care about what the person has to say about what you achieved.
What you must understand is that not everyone are like you. Some people just want to be average. Some people want to follow rather than break the boundaries, test the system and take the lead.
What do YOU want? Do what you want to do, be who you want to be and never be scared of being different.
I think that leaders are remembered by their names and followers by the crowds they followed.
So get out there and live your life to the fullest. Be the individual you want to be! Do not ever live the life someone else planned for you and always remember to be bold.
So if selling a cupcake has the potential of giving you the life you want, then sell that cupcake!
